Meanwhile . . .


Here's the cover rough for Austral, due out in October this year. Unlike any novel I've written before, according to my editor. That's a good thing, yes?

Lovely cover. Can't wait to see what's inside it. Always an adventure (and always with a grand reward) when you do something unlike anything you've done before. Currently on my second trip through my shelf of McAuley "done befores," and man what variety of approaches and narrative strategies and voices, each terrifically ambitious and all in my opinion successful. Now I'll be wondering until October what the hell is left that you haven't done before! Hope it finds a big readership.

Hi Strannik, It should be avaiable via amazon and other online retailers. Can't be certain hard copies will be in brick stores I'm afraid.
